The days where all you needed was a professional headshot for your marketing materials, listings and website are over. Now if you want to engage with prospective clients, you need to invest in a branding photography session.

Branding photography consists of images that are aligned with a business’s mission and visual aesthetic.

They usually feature the business owner, employees, and maybe some of the products or services that the brand provides. While they are great to use on social media (you can read more about why below), they are also perfect for websites, marketing materials, advertisements and anywhere else you use images in your brand strategy.

A good branding photographer will capture pictures of you doing all of the things you do in your business. This can be the laptop shots, talking on the phone, meeting with clients, even posting that FOR SALE sign outside one of your latest properties. 

They may also take photos of you doing what you love to do when you are off-duty. This is your opportunity to share your favorite hobbies like cooking, spending time with your family, reading or taking a walk around your area. These are all things that people can relate to and when they see you doing something they love to do, they will feel like they know you better and they will come to like you.
